Summary

To provide personalised care to individuals within their own homes across the south of Leeds. Our aim is to ensure that every person who wishes to remain within their own home has the opportunity with support from you.

Additions

Senior Carers will be paid £9 per hour with at least 6 month experience and a valid driving licence
Company mileage will be paid at 30p per mile
Paid five day induction program
Free Uniforms and ID badges
Company mobile phone provide to all community based employees

Eligibility Required

Driving license and access to a car is essential. A full enhanced DBS will be applied for, paid for by Be Caring Ltd.

Experience Required

At least 6 months experience working within a care setting is essential.

The Role

Your role will include visiting people in their homes providing support. You will also become part of the Be caring team and have a role in been involved with the compliance of the service delivered.

You will spend your time out in the community visiting our service users and ensuring they are well looked after, safe and happy. The type of care and support that we offer varies depending on each service user’s individual needs.

You will also work alongside the Be caring team ensuring that the service is compliant, and the care staff are supported within their roles.

All of our service users have a care plan in place for you to adhere to, you will be involved as a senior care worker in creating these support plans to ensure they reflect the needs of the individual.
An element of your role will be supporting individuals, please see below a list of potential tasks that you may be expected to carry out:

Assisting with personal care, including intimate care with dignity
Administration/prompting of medication
Assisting with the preparation of meals/drinks
Assisting with the completion of domestic tasks, including
laundry, cleaning and shopping
Assisting people to remain independent within the community
Completion of care plans and risk assessments
