Be Caring Tyneside are currently looking to recruit enthusiastic and dynamic individuals to join our growing Palliative Care Department.
The purpose of this role is to provide support with kindness and compassion, enabling our customers to remain within their own home environment whilst receiving palliative care.
We offer guaranteed hour contracts
Paid five day induction program
Long sits and pop-in visits available
We pay 30p per business mile to car driver
Enhanced rates of pay made for bank holidays
Full enhanced DBS will be applied for, paid for by Be Caring Ltd.
Experience for this position is not required as you will be given full training on your commencement of employment with Be Caring Limited.
Palliative Home Care Support Workers are the backbone of the Home Care Department, who are the hands on workers supporting our customers every day. The role of a community based work and will see you visiting our customers in their own home setting, providing care which is delivered with compassion.
Your role will include the provision of personal care tasks and other intimate care tasks. Here at Be Caring we believe that end of life, Palliative care should be delivered in a way that ensuring our customers are safe and comfortable whilst being supported to remain at home.

If you are successful in appointment of this position you will have the opportunity to complete:
Paid for 5 days of induction training
Completion of the Care Certificate across a 12 week period working with our dedicated trainer

Be Caring Tyneside's Palliative Care Department have specific employees who are trained to provide you with in house training to meet the specific needs of our customers.
As a Palliative Home Care Assistant you will be specific trained in the following as and when our customers needs require such training:
Working with people with spinal injury, acquired brain injury, epilepsy and specialist neurological conditions including MND and Huntington’s disease
Intimate care, delivered with dignity
