LIFE by Be Caring are looking to recruit an experienced full-time male Support Worker to work in one of our Independent Supported Living services in the Westerhope are of Newcastle upon Tyne.
The purpose of this role is to provide support to a gentleman who has a learning disability and is in receipt of 24 hours, two-to-one care within his own home.
The successful candidate will join a well established team who have been supporting the customers over several years.

Full-time contracted hours available
Long shifts including 14 hour days and sleep-ins
Weekend working on a rota basis
Full enhanced DBS check will be carried out by Be Caring Limited any offer of employment is subject to the information gathered at this time.
Previous experience working within the social care sector, especially within learning disabilities is essential to be considered for this vacancy.
Previous experience managing behaviors that present as challenging would be a strong advantage.
Your role as a Support Worker will see you working within one of our Support Living Services in the Newcastle upon Tyne area.
You will join a team of preexisting support workers who support a gentleman to live in his own home with the provision of two-to-one care.
This role will require you to be an enthusiastic individual to help our customer to access the community and to live a happy and fulfilled life.
The role would suit a competent and confident individual who would become part of a hardworking established team who provide high quality person-centered support to our customer.
