Support Worker required to work at our Independent Support Living services within the Montagu area of Newcastle. You will provide person-centred support, which promotes independence through enabling approaches and connecting people to local groups and services.
Willingness to drive our customers vehicles is essential aspect of this role.
Shifts: 8:00am-10:00pm (shifts may vary during these core hours)
Paid holidays and bank holidays
Under 25s - your hourly rate will be no different from the rate stated below
Training and Learning: paid induction, care certificate, level 2 & 3 in health and social care

As a Support Worker, you will spend you time supporting our customers within the community ensuring they are looked after, safe and happy. The type of care and support that we offer varies depending on each customers individual needs. You will be required to provide care and support to people in their homes according to personalised support plans to help maintain their independence and dignity.
You will be supported by the Team Manager,Coordination team and in-house trainer, to ensure you have skills and resources needed in this role. You'll also have opportunities to further develop your skills and achieve formal qualifications in Health and Social Care as you progress.
All our customers have personalised Support Plans in place for you to adhere to, however, please see below a list of potential tasks that you may be expected to carry out:
Assisting with personal care, including intimate care with dignity
Administration/prompting of medication
Assisting with the preparation of meals/drinks
Assisting with the completion of domestic tasks, including laundry, cleaning and shopping
Assisting people to remain independent within the community
