We are looking to recruit experienced care professionals to join our Home Care teams at our Liverpool Branch as Rapid Response Home Care Support Workers. You will work as part of integral teams providing person-centred care, which promotes independence through enabling approaches and connecting people to local groups and services.

Successful candidates will be required to work weekends only and be provided with a Block Hours contract, this stipulates that should you be required to cover care calls you will be available between the hours of 7:00am-10:00pm.


Vacancies: Part Time
Salary: £9p/hr
Shifts: Availability to cover shifts from 7:00am-10:00pm (Saturday & Sunday)
Contracts: Block Hours Contracts provided (paid for your contracted hours)
Mileage: Paid at 40p per mile

Experience Required

Previous experience working with the adult social care sector is essential when being considered for this role.

We are looking for people who can live our values. Previous care experience is not essential. Full training and support will be provided if you are new to care.

The Role

As a Community Home Carer, you will be kind and compassionate, building caring and supportive relationships with the people you support and their families. You will deliver personalised care and support to people in their homes. You will place dignity at the heart of the care you provide. As a Home Care Support Worker, you will:
Maximise people’s independence through enabling approaches
Build care and support networks for individuals, involving family and friends
Identify opportunities to connect people to their local community

As an organisation, we are looking for people who can work independently and as part of a team. You will be empowered to make decisions that improve the lives of people we support. We need people with strong communication skills, sharing information and responding quickly.

Typical care and support tasks within a care plan include:
Personal care, including intimate care
Administration/prompting of medication
Preparation of meals/drinks
Completion of domestic tasks, including laundry, cleaning and shopping
Access to/attendance at community groups and activities

  • Induction includes a minimum of; 3 x half day classroom based sessions, 14 online learning units and shadowing care calls. As an employee-owned organisation, we pay everyone for successfully completing their induction.
  • We will ask you about your availability at interview to discuss a potential working pattern that meets the needs of the service and the people we support.

    Typically, we ask people to work a mixture of evenings and weekends, for example; alternate weekends, and 2 evenings per week. If you have applied for a weekend only job, then we will expect that you will be available to work weekends.
  • The majority of our colleagues tend to work on early and late shifts, some colleagues work full days.

    EARLY shifts tend to be from 7:00am to 2:00pm and LATE shifts tend to be from 3:00pm to 10:00pm
