Summary

Be Caring Tyneside is currently looking to recruit enthusiastic and dynamic individuals to join our growing Domiciliary Home Care Department.

We have both full and part time vacancies available for the suitable candidate who will work as community based home care workers, providing support to our customers across the North Tyneside area.

Areas Covered: Predominately North Shields, Tynemouth, Wallsend & Whitley Bay

We offer guaranteed 16 hour contracts
We pay 30p per business mile to car driver

Eligibility Required

Full enhanced DBS check will be carried out by Be Caring Limited any offer of employment is subject to the information gathered at this time.

Experience Required

No previous experience is required to be eligible to apply for this vacancy. Be Caring Limited will provide training to all new recruits.
We do however ask that you are a genuinely caring, compassionate and committed individual who will represent our organisation in a professional manner.

The Role

As a Home Care Assistant, you will spend your time out in the community visiting our service users and ensuring they are well looked after, safe and happy. The type of care and support that we offer varies depending on each service user’s individual needs.

All of our service users have a care plan in place for you to adhere to, however, please see below a list of potential tasks that you may be expected to carry out:

Assisting with personal care, including intimate care with dignity
Administration/prompting of medication
Assisting with the preparation of meals/drinks
Assisting with the completion of domestic tasks, including laundry, cleaning and shopping
Assisting people to remain independent within the community
