Summary

Be Caring Manchester is currently looking to recruit enthusiastic and dynamic individuals to join our growing Domiciliary Home Care Department.

We have both full and part time vacancies available for the suitable candidate who will work as community based home care workers, providing support to our customers across the Manchester area.

You are not required to be a driving licence holder to be eligible for this vacancy, however you must be willing to travel between services. We will take your home location into consideration and keep you as close to your own area as possible.

Eligibility Required

Full enhanced DBS check will be carried out by Be Caring Limited any offer of employment is subject to the information gathered at this time.

Experience Required

No previous experience working within the social care sector is required. Be Caring Limited will provide all new employees with intensive training to ensure they are confident to d their job.

The Role

As a Home Care Support Worker, you will spend your time out in the community visiting our service users and ensuring they are well looked after, safe and happy. The type of care and support that we offer varies depending on each service user’s individual needs.

All of our service users have a care plan in place for you to adhere to, however, please see below a list of potential tasks that you may be expected to carry out:

Assisting with personal care, including intimate care with dignity
Administration/prompting of medication
Assisting with the preparation of meals/drinks
Assisting with the completion of domestic tasks, including laundry, cleaning and shopping
Assisting people to remain independent within the community

Completion of the Care Certificate across a 12 week period working with our dedicated trainer
