We require community-based Home Care Support Workers / Care Assistants to support people across the Leeds area. We cover from Roundhay, Chapel Allerton, Moortown, Gildersome and Cross Green to Hunslett, Beeston, Middleton, Morley, Ardsley, Tingley, Methley and North Wakefield. Variety of shifts available; early, lunch, evening, late - we'll aim to work around your availability.
Earn an extra 20p on top of every visit that you carry out (if you don't drive) -
If you do drive; we offer a higher hourly rate of £9.30 plus 30p per mile but NO VISIT PAYMENT -
If you're under 25 you'll still be paid the same rate -

As a Home Care Support Worker, you will spend your time out in the community visiting our service users and ensuring they are well looked after, safe and happy. The type of care and support that we offer varies depending on each service user’s individual needs.
All of our customers have a care plan in place for you to adhere to, however, please see below a list of potential tasks that you may be expected to carry out:
Assisting with personal care, including intimate care with dignity
Administration/prompting of medication
Preparation of meals/drinks
Assisting with the completion of domestic tasks, including laundry, cleaning and shopping
Assisting people to remain independent within the community

You'll be supported by Be Caring Team Leaders, to provide personalised care, dependent on each client's individual needs including; aiding mobility, assisting with meals, maintaining daily routines, medication prompts, some domestic support and elements of personal care. The purpose of the role is to provide person-centered support in the community that enables those who we support to to remain independent and safe in their own home and able to live happy and fulfilled lives.
