Drivers are needed to work across the South of Leeds, providing care and support to people living in harder to reach areas. You will provide person-centred care, which promotes independence through enabling approaches and connecting people to local groups and services.
Block contracts and others contracts available including guaranteed minimum hours
Paid holidays and bank holidays
Various shifts available; early from 7am, lunch, evening/teas and lates/bedtimes
Under 25s - your hourly rate will be no different from the rate stated below
Paid mileage at 30p per mile
Full enhanced DBS will be applied for, paid for by Be Caring Ltd.
Experience is desirable but not essential. Full training and support will be provided if you're new to care.

As a Home Care Support Worker you will spend your time out in the community visiting our service users and ensuring they are well looked after, safe and happy. The type of care and support that we offer varies depending on each service user’s individual needs and their care package.
All of our customers have a care plan in place however, please see below a list of potential tasks that you may be expected to carry out:
Assisting with personal care, that may or may not include provision of intimate care with dignity
Administration/prompting of medication
Preparation of meals/drinks
Assisting with the completion of domestic tasks, including laundry, cleaning and shopping
Supporting people to remain independent within the community and their own homes

If you are studying towards a qualification in Social Care, Nursing or Health Care this role could provide you with paid-for practical experience. We can provide you with community-based insight to align with your studies.
