We require Community Care Support Workers, providing care and support to people so that they remain independent and live happy, fulfilled lives. You will provide person-centred care, which promotes independence through enabling approaches and connecting people to local groups and services. You must be able to travel (walk or use public transport) between care calls.
Guaranteed minimum hours contract available. Paid holidays and enhanced rates of pay for bank holidays
Various shifts available; we request one evening p/wk (to 10:00pm) and alternate weekends or one Sat/Sun every week
Under 25s - your hourly rate will be no different from the rate stated below
Uniform, winter jacket and mobile phone provided for work use.
Full enhanced DBS check will be carried out by Be Caring . You must be prepared to travel between care-calls and be available at least one evening per week until 10pm, alternate weekends or one weekend day every week.
No previous experience working within the social care sector is required.
Be Caring Limited will provide all new employees with paid-for training to ensure they are confident to do their job.
As a Community Care Support Worker, you will spend your time out in the community visiting our service users and ensuring they are well looked after, safe and happy. The type of care and support that we offer varies depending on each service user’s individual needs.
All of our service users have a care plan in place for you to adhere to, however, please see below a list of potential tasks that you may be expected to carry out:
Assisting with personal care, including intimate care with dignity
Administration/prompting of medication
Assisting with the preparation of meals/drinks
Assisting with the completion of domestic tasks, including laundry, cleaning and shopping
Assisting people to remain independent within the community

Completion of the Care Certificate across a 12 week period working with our dedicated trainer
