Be Caring Liverpool is looking for experienced care support workers / care assistants who drive, to cover the L11, L12, L13, L16 and L19 areas.
This block contract means that drivers will be paid for their full shift, start to finish - plus mileage on top at 30p per mile.
You will be required to provide care and support to people in their homes according to personalised care plans to help maintain their independence and dignity. You'll be supported by the Quality Lead and Coordination teams, and in-house trainer, to ensure you have skills and resources needed in this role. You'll also have opportunities to further develop you skills and achieve formal qualifications in Health and Social Care as you progress.

Previous experience working within the social care sector is desirable, however not essential as training will be provided to all new colleagues.
As a Home Care Support Worker, you will spend your time out in the community visiting our service users and ensuring they are well looked after, safe and happy. The type of care and support that we offer varies depending on each service user’s individual needs.
All of our service users have a care plan in place for you to adhere to, however, please see below a list of potential tasks that you may be expected to carry out:
Assisting with personal care, including intimate care with dignity
Administration/prompting of medication
Assisting with the preparation of meals/drinks
Assisting with the completion of domestic tasks, including laundry, cleaning and shopping
Assisting people to remain independent within the community
