Be Caring Tyneside have an exciting opportunity for Care Workers to join our busy Home Care department. Be Caring Tyneside have recently secured the management of shared living services within the Brunswick and Dinning areas of Newcastle upon Tyne.
Our Home Care Department is managed by our dedicated Care Service Manager who alongside our Care Coordinators oversees the day to day coordination of the department. We have a committed and experience management team who will support your development should you be successful in your application to work for Be Caring Tyneside.

We offer guaranteed hour contracts
12 hour shift patterns
Alternate Weekend Working
We pay 30p per business mile to car driver
Enhanced rates of pay made for bank holidays
Paid five day induction program
Full enhanced DBS check will be carried out by Be Caring Limited and any offer of employment is subject to the information gathered at this time.
Experience working within the social care sector would be an advantage, however is not a requirement to be eligible to apply for this vacancy as full induction training will be provided to all new employees
You will be working within our Home Care services and as such your ability to manage and deal with difficult situations is essential to be successful in the role.
As a Home Care Support Worker you will be responsible for the provision of all the care needs of the customers who you will support. The nature of the role will include the provision of personal care tasks, a part of your role that is required to be managed with dignity and respect.
Home Care Support Workers will be specific trained in the following as and when our customers needs require such training:
Working with people with spinal injury, acquired brain injury, epilepsy and specialist neurological conditions including MND and Huntington’s disease
Intimate care, delivered with dignity
If you are successful in appointment of this position you will have the opportunity to complete:
Five days induction training
At least 16 hours shadowing an experienced member of the team
Apprenticeship/diploma in care
Any additional training required for your role
