We require community-based Complex Home Care Support Workers / Care Assistants to support people across the Newcastle area. We cover various postcodes areas across the city. Variety of shifts available; early shifts, late Shifts & Evening Working - we'll aim to work around your availability where possible.

We pay 30p per business mile to car drivers

Due to the complexity of the care and support required to work with our Complex and Palliative Care Department we request that all applicants have at least 6 months of social care experience.
Your role as a Complex Home Care Support Worker will be to provide person-centered support to enable our customers to continue to live within their own home settings.
Due to the nature of this role you will be expected to undertake all aspects of the customers daily living task, this will include the provision of intimate person care tasks which will be delivered with respect and dignity.
You will predominately work across our services within the Gateshead area, however due to service requirements you may be asked to occasionally work within the Newcastle area.

You'll be supported by Be Caring Team Leaders, to provide personalised care, dependent on each client's individual needs including aiding mobility, assisting with meals, maintaining daily routines, medication prompts, some domestic support and elements of personal care. The purpose of the role is to provide person-centred support in the community that enables those who we support to to remain independent and safe in their own home and able to live happy and fulfilled lives.

Working with people with spinal injury, acquired brain injury, epilepsy and specialist neurological conditions including MND and Huntington’s disease
