Be Caring Tyneside are currently looking to recruit enthusiastic and dynamic individuals to join our growing Complex and Palliative Care Department.
The Department is ran by our Care Service Manager who has many years of experience within the social care sector and a proven track record of managing care services to the highest standards.
Day to day coordination of the department is overseen by Michelle, Emma & Kelly our Service Care Coordinators who ensure that we are providing quality care to our customers. Should you be successful in your application for a role within our Complex and Palliative Care Department you will have direct interaction with all of our Care Coordinators who will support and help develop your skills to be the best you can be.

Due to the complexity of the care and support required to work with our Complex and Palliative Care Department we request that all applicants have at least 12 months of social care experience. The development of personal skills is actively encouraged and you will giving every opportunity to progress your career within the social care sector with Be Caring Limited.
Complex Home Care Assistants are the backbone of the Home Care Department, who are the hands on workers supporting our customers every day. The role of a Home Care Assistant is community based work and will see you visiting our customers in their own home setting.

If you are successful in appointment of this position you will have the opportunity to complete:
Five days induction training
At least 16 hours shadowing an experienced member of the team
Apprenticeship/diploma in care
Any additional training required for your role
Be Caring Tyneside's Complex and Palliative Care Department have specific employees who are trained to provide you with in house training to meet the specific needs of our customers.
As a Complex Home Care Assistant you will be specific trained in the following as and when our customers needs require such training:
Working with people with spinal injury, acquired brain injury, epilepsy and specialist neurological conditions including MND and Huntington’s disease
Intimate care, delivered with dignity
