Summary

Enthusiastic and dynamic community-based Home Care Assistants needed to provide care to the people in their homes in the Trafford area so they can remain independent and live happy, fulfilled lives. Due to the locations of the people we support it's important that you drive. The primary area covered in this contract is Trafford and surrounding communities.
Early and late shifts available, however you must be:
- prepared to travel between care-calls
- available at least one evening per week until 10pm
- able to work alternate weekends or one weekend day every week
We're rated Good by CQC, so care quality is our priority.

Additions

Flexible Working Hours including 7am-3pm and 3pm-10pm shifts available
-We offer guaranteed hour contracts for drivers
-extra 20p for every visit/care-call
-extra 30p per business mile for car drivers
-Enhanced rates of pay made for bank holidays
-Paid five day induction program

Eligibility Required

Driving Licence withaccess to your own vehicle. Full enhanced DBS check will be carried out by Be Caring. Available at least one evening per week until 10pm; able to work alternate weekends or one weekend day every week

Experience Required

Experience is not essential as full training and support will be provided if you're new to care.

The Role

As a Community Care Support Worker, you will spend your time out in the community visiting our customers and ensuring they are well looked after, safe and happy. The type of care and support that we offer varies depending on each service user’s individual needs.

All of our service users have a care plan in place for you to adhere to, however, please see below a list of potential tasks that you may be expected to carry out:

Assisting with personal care, including intimate care with dignity
Administration/prompting of medication
Assisting with the preparation of meals/drinks
Assisting with the completion of domestic tasks, including laundry, cleaning and shopping
Assisting people to remain independent within the community

Completion of the Care Certificate across a 12 week period working with our dedicated trainer
