Be Caring Leeds are currently looking for a full time Care Coordinator to work within our Home Care department. The purpose of the role is to directly line manage a team of Home Care Workers, including the management of their weekly workload. Liaise with external organisations in respect of developing a total package of care for a service user. Reporting to Registered Manager’s on a weekly basis on activity levels and outcomes for service users. Providing written reports of all complaints, accidents, incidents and untoward events in accordance with written policies. Ensuring day-to-day care services are operated in accordance with health and safety legislation.
Full enhanced DBS check will be carried out by Be Caring Limited and any offer of employment is subject to the information gathered at this time.
Experience working in a similar role with internal and external stakeholders is strongly desired as well as excellent IT skills and competency in Microsoft Office.
Your role as a Care Coordinator will see you directly line managing a team of Home Care staff. You will coordinate the allocation of shifts ensuring that all calls are covered, enabling Be Caring Leeds to meet the care needs of our service users.
You will undertake on-call duties as part of your role, this will mean some evening and weekend working to ensure that the department is providing a 24/7 service.
