At Be Caring, we’re spreading a little Christmas cheer
Friday 11 December 2020
The festive season is here, and at Be Caring, we’re spreading the Christmas cheer! After what has been a difficult year for so many people, we have been focusing hard on the wellbeing of both the people we support, and those who work at the company.
As an employee-owned company, we’re in the process of distributing our largest ever Christmas bonus, which has definitely brought a smile to the faces of our colleagues! They have worked so incredibly hard this year in such challenging circumstances, and it is so well deserved.
Our employees across the company have also been working together to create some fantastic “Winter Wellbeing Packs” to go out to the people we care for, which will be arriving at their homes in mid-December. These packs consist of an activity book to keep minds active, and a guide to social groups and local support and services in their community. There’s also a number of lovely surprises in the packs too (which we won’t spoil!) and we really hope they will put a smile on peoples’ faces over this festive period.

Our staff have been getting in the mood for Christmas by buying Be Caring elf costumes in Leeds, swapping festive photos of their pets, decorating the offices, and even the pesky elf on a shelf has made an appearance in our Newcastle office! There’s also been lots of charitable activity too – from Christmas Jumper Days for Save the Children, to shoebox appeals in Leeds to donating presents to KidsOut in Newcastle.

However you spend this festive season, we hope it is full of joy, warmth and peace, that you stay safe and well, and we wish you all the best for the forthcoming year.
